I doubt very much that the assclowns recognize that you have something good to offer. The sharper guys will.Albertarockshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01012817858746684681noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135767210188526078.post-45715004743750095582011-07-19T18:19:12.020-04:002011-07-19T18:19:12.020-04:00Oh, God, I hope so! That's a nice combination that can lead to successes. BTW, do you have the ability to block the assclowns in the event they were to show up here?Albertarockshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01012817858746684681noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135767210188526078.post-77778877245093771632011-07-19T11:08:29.669-04:002011-07-19T11:08:29.669-04:00Hey Pebble. I thought I'd post a comment here...Hey Pebble. I thought I'd post a comment here for a change, if for no other reason than that you're a terrific writer... you get your points across very clearly.

I 'do' appreciate your picture of what the pattern in the dollar looked like back in 2007. I hadn't noticed the similarity. But I'm not totally convinced yet about whether or not the dollar has one more quick leg down toward new lows. Therefore, even though I'm probably the most bearish bastard on the planet, I'm also not convinced that equities won't shoot for a new high. In fact, if the dollar breaks 73, I'd have to expect it has its sights on 71. That would support the notion of one more new high in equities as well. I'm not necessarily calling for this scenario, but view it as a distinct possibility.

I have to admit that the recent downleg from the July 7th high to the low on the 18th looks like a pretty clear 'abc' type of move. That would suggest a fiver up from here (possibly truncated). In fact, I just plugged my nose and went long. But I'm so damned jittery about holding longs, that I'll gladly jump right out again as soon as the market makes manure magically appear in my undies yet again.

I do hold some physical silver and I have no plans to unload any of it until I actually see some real serious deflationary activity (strong dollar). I absolutely 'am' expecting dollar strength at some point relatively soon and I also expect the move will last far longer and run far higher than most expect. But will it break down one more time first? I don't know. I might have made a misnake in going long this morning but hey, when has that ever happened before? :-)Albertarockshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01012817858746684681noreply@blogger.com
